I chanced upon this video, and was taken to the content matter, which talked about how much of change we as teachers can bring in the lives of children by being creative in our teaching practices, as well as encouraging it among the younger generation. Teachers need to think how much of creativity we are nourishing among children.It directly relates to the atmosphere in school. kids love hindi cinema music

I am homeschooling my son now 3. As any other child...he loves music too! i picked up a bunch of hindi song video DVD. i have ended up teaching him so much beyond music. London Bridge, Big Ben.....a song from Baghban. Toy Train from Shimla.....Parineeta. Everymoring he identifies the song with these titles and i am happy. As a child i loved the rhyme that appeared on DD ...Ek Titli, anek titliyan.....look for it on Utube.com....download it My son has loved this classic piece too!

Inspiring rural teachers to provide meaningful education

We run a school for tribal children in Southern Rajasthan and are intent on providing them with a genuinely high quality education that's relevant to an underprivileged rural population. We draw inspiration from Maria Montessori, Steiner etc. and wish for a child led and centred approach to education. Up till now this has been a real challenge to provide due to the lack of experience and education of the teachers in the area. read more
