I've just added a Learn the Abacus section on my website. This section will have videos to help learn (and teach) the abacus and worksheets for practice. There are 2 sessions (with 10 worksheets) up as of now.
I've crafted the sessions from my own experience of teaching my daughter the abacus (she features in the video!).
"TAMING INFINITY" is a presentation by Manil Suri , Professor at University of Maryland.
It basically explains the concept of infinity,in interesting manner.
The video is a must see for anybody, having basic knowledge of Mathematics.
It will really help students understand Calculus better.
I'm the mother of a 5 year old. I've made a few math worksheets on Kindergarten and Primary maths (numbers, addition, multiples, factors, fractions...). They are available as .pdf downloads from my website. They mostly relate to the stories we tell each other and to what we see around us. As of now there are about 10 worksheets, but I will keep adding. Any feedback is welcome.
