Technology is advancing with speed of light. I am a teacher. Gone are the days when teachers were using a blackboard / chalk for teaching . With the advancement of new technologies ,now it has become essential to learn and adapt to using them. It is because, these days students are not just relying upon what is taught to them in the school. They are exposed to new environments. So, there is a diar need to change the methods of teaching learning.

I am teaching mathematics. Earlier it use to be solving the text book questions and thats all. But now, it is not just all. I am exploring new strategies for teaching learning mathematics. I have set up a mathematics laboratory in my school . I am using various manipulatives like unit cubes, geoboards ...techniques like paper folding , cutting and pasting etc. And this has changed the whole scenario. The students are able to visualise a concept taught in the classroom.
